Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

HomeBase offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that give you the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk and homeless youth.

Street Outreach Volunteers We are looking for responsible male volunteers able to commit a minimum of six months to saving the lives of Arizona's homeless youth. We are seeking a male volunteer for every other Sunday and every other Friday night. Volunteers go out in HBYS vans to predetermined areas in the Valley to let homeless youth know that help is available. Volunteers provide essential items such as food, blankets, and hygiene items. * Must be at least 21 years of age and able to commit at least 2 nights a month.

If you are interested in becoming a part of this life-saving work, please complete the Volunteer Profile. Once we receive the completed volunteer profile, we will contact you to arrange an orientation.

HomeBase also offers group projects and has opportunities available for team-building and service learning. Corporate teams, youth groups, and other service groups are welcome to schedule a fun and rewarding project by contacting our Coordinator of Volunteer Resources. Thank you for your interest in HomeBase. If you have any questions, please call (602) 651-1804 or email volunteer@hbys.org.
